Amoeba felt

Here is something I am working on at the moment. I started making the felt amoeba a while ago, now they are moving around the studio looking for somewhere to reside, they had started off on one of my ink drawings - now they are trying out this felt frame I made. They are still being embellished with thread, one of my projects I like to carry around with me when sitting on the bus or in cafes with friends.

Hi Mandy,
I really enjoy checking out your blogs. You are very generous, posting work by other artists, pointers to mags, etc. Can't wait to see where and how the amoebas will end up. It's exciting trying work out in different circumstances, isn't it? I'm thinking about making work that can be displayed in all kinds of ways, subtly changing its meaning every time. I've done one paperfigure like that, so far 3 different postures/positions tried out.
Spring greetings (just before winter falls again),

I really like the way the shapes work together, almost as if they are making a 'static dance' if that makes any sense! Great work.
