Iris Eichenberg

wood, medical plastic, oropax and silver (c) Iris Eichenberg

I am in love with the work of Iris Eichenberg ! She combines all my favourite elements - wood, internal organs, textile, amorphous shapes, precious metals, white, colours of flesh and blood.

Thanks for your comment, and your so right about finding new blogs, I wish we could be paid to just read archives all day long, heaven, hope I get time to look into your soon, the blog looks great.
And... we have a spooky wrapped twigs connection! Mine are for jewellery and little sculptures/mixed media collages (but I never have them on my blog as they are all packed away).

Blimey, I just read a little more about your interests, my god we have SO much in common art-wise, symbiotic relationships and work linked to the human body is one of the main themes of my work.

Damn my unfinished house, I'd love to show you what I do but it's all in storage. I reckon we could do a great collaborative something or other. Maybe one day?

Such a treat to meet someone with such similar blog interests but in the UK! Looks like you have brilliant links and will be my new key source for things I'd like down your way that i might never have seen otherwise.
