Still in the House ii Silk on torchon 49x60 cmsMiranda Argyle is showing some beautiful drawings and stitched artwork From Where I'm Looking Mr Lekeux. This exhibition also includes four recent works that are site specific and made in relation to Anna Maria Garthwaite (1688-1763) who lived and worked close to the gallery in Princelet Street which was at the heart of the silk industry at that time. The show ends tomorrow, 27th May and is open from 12-6pm at Eleven Spitalfields, 11 Princelet Street, London E1. Thursday is the day for antiques at Spitalfields market which is only 5 minutes away from this gallery.
