Francoise Dupre

arabesques (installation detail) by Francoise Dupre

'Joie de faire' (the making of stuff), a new exhibition of work by Francoise Dupre at the Menier Chocolate Factory Gallery, 51 Southwark Street, London, SE1 sees the realisation of a complex and spectacular installation that celebrates everyday creativity and the practice of art making. Using Menier’s green and gold colours, lycra fabric, elastic, nylon and mirror discs, the artist has created a knotted structure that stretches across the gallery and loops its way around crocheted cell forms and decorative patterns. Exhibition runs from 8-31 March.
