The White Space Gallery in St Peter's Church off Oxford Street has an exhibition of photographs by Russian filmmaker Andrey Tarkovsky (1932-1986). It was lovely to be reminded of his films by this series of personal snapshots. There is a festival in London to celebrate the 75th anniversary of his birth. There is also a new book out called Bright, bright day with his photographs and poems by his father, Arseniy Tarkovsky.
