Felt pods - a work in progress. I have been busy making felt for the fair on Sunday, but I think these will be for another project later in the year. I have been working on this piece for a year off and on. It keeps changing - its form and function !

These are fantastic........ you clever girl!
Like these, especially the bottom one, reminds me of little birds nests...
Thanks for the artist recommendation (http://spectrescope.blogspot.com/), her work looks interesting, and in her post today she has a brand new studio, jealous!
those are amazing Mandy!! Really wonderful.
Found your blog. Going to read it all. I love this work.
I am in love with holes and feeling of comfy caves in artwork.
Sometimes it takes a long time for a work to find a form for me. It's like it is telling me what it wants to be but I can't understand it. A few months later I understand some more.
funny, you were mentionning hanging by a thread...
I like these forms very much - as well as how they're hanging.
how big are these?
in the pictures from the fair, there is one where you're in it, and I realized that your pieces were larger than I had thought.
