Mythic Heaven, 1995
Liz Arnold 1964-2001 has a retrospective of her beautiful, quirky paintings at Camden Arts Centre, Arkwright Road, London NW3 until 19th April. Her carefully crafted canvases depict cartoon-like animals seemingly imbued with human emotions. They inhabit a world that is both fantastical and familiar.

Too wonderful. A perfect world except for the despondent cloud on the left.
That is a funny picture though I cannot stand smoking. I go for felting instead.
