Billy Childish

I went to see the Billy Childish exhibition Unknowable But Certain, at the ICA in London which is on until May 2nd. I really enjoyed the show and thought the paintings were beautiful and loved the 2 rooms upstairs with years of hand-made record covers and books of poems and artwork. There is a very good catalogue too which you can see pictured here on the train journey home with a bundle of fabric from The Cloth House in Soho.

Joanne also has a blog, The Needle Files.

Car Boot snapshots.

It was the local car boot fair on Sunday, always an enjoyable feast of memorabilia, tales of objects old and worn, meeting good friends and drinking tea from a polystyrene cup.
