Deflated 2006
Deflated (detail) 2006
This is a piece I made as part of my final course work last year. I have used thick layers of wool fibre, with deflated balloons placed between the layers, which act as a resist. Once the piece was felted I removed the balloons and stuffed the pockets with scraps of felt.

I like your work in felt and combining it with drawing. I am exploring working with felt at the moment and am taking a course at the Mary Ward Centre in London next month. It is such tactile process.
