Alice Leach is showing work at the Hepsibah Gallery, 112 Brackenbury Road, London W6 until 23 May. There are no opening times listed but the phone no for the gallery is 0208 741 0025. Found in the May issue of Art Review magazine.
I like Alice Leach's work, a feel some empathy for her style:) Would love to get to see that exhibition, shame I'm not that tiny bit closer to W6.... thanks for your interesting links Mandy!
"Mandy Prowse studied painting and printmaking at Maidstone College of Art. She explores natural and human forms and the interconnectedness of all things. Themes in her work relate to birth, mortality and metamorphosis. Her altered books are minimalistic and organic combining a modern aesthetic with an almost Victorian touch. If you told me these books were 100 years old I wouldn’t think twice about it.”
