Bicycle chain, destructed book, food colouring, gel pen, pva, cotton thread, rust. 2007I found this rusty old bicycle chain in the street and cycled past it and then had to go back and retrieve it later as I kept thinking about it and it was still there ! I made it into a present for a boy I know who loves bicycles :)

I really really like this piece! I especially like the shadow-type frame you have created with the added element of stitch. Inventive and as ever inspirational!
