American craft magazine has had a makeover this month. It is full of goodies, with a photographic portrait of the home/studio of French artist Nathalie Lete, a wonderful article from the archives of Craft Horizons by Hungarian artist, Mariska Karasz (more about her next). The magazine has a new editor, Andrew Wagner and if this issue is anything to go by it is going to be something to look forward to every 2 months. They have chosen a lovely typeface developed by Johann Michael Fleischmann in the 1700s which has been updated by Erhard Kaiser of the Dutch Type Library in Amsterdam. I do have a weakness for good type! Somewhere I have been planning to visit is The Type Museum in Stockwell, London.
