What a lovely drawings! I relly, really like/love the heart once, the one with japanes paper in layer. Soooooooo good! Good luck and keep up the good work!
wow, what great drawings - i really love these! i hope the exhibition goes well.
i also popped over to flickr to see some of your felt work (a little obsession of mine) and am now feeling very inspired!
it was interesting to see your shibori as i've been practising on some scarves and test pieces with shibori for texture and colour - i have a wall hanging in my mind but am finding it hard to find a large chunk of time between work / housework / family / friends - think i just need to shut myself away in my craft room for a few days!
"Mandy Prowse studied painting and printmaking at Maidstone College of Art. She explores natural and human forms and the interconnectedness of all things. Themes in her work relate to birth, mortality and metamorphosis. Her altered books are minimalistic and organic combining a modern aesthetic with an almost Victorian touch. If you told me these books were 100 years old I wouldn’t think twice about it.”

I looked at them all more closely on your Flickr set and they look great together on the wall. Hope all went well on your show!
