Isabella Blow

Isabella Blow wearing a hat by artist Simon Periton and designer Philip Treacy. More information about this collaboration can be found here.

I was saddened to read that Isabella Blow, the fashion journalist and stylist has died at the age of 48. Most of you will know her from her outrageous fashion style and amazing hats. This one is by the artist Simon Periton who is known for his intricate art made from paper-cuts. His most recent work is an installation at the V&A in London.

Rob Ryan

I discovered the art of Rob Ryan in 2004 in an exhibition called The Museum of Me in London. He works with paper cuts which are so detailed and exquisitely executed that they took my breath away the first time I saw them! You can see more of his work on his web-site, www.misterrob.co.uk or on his blog.
