Green and Stone, 259 Kings Road, London SW3 is a beautiful old-fashioned shop with all sorts of art and craft materials. I loved the selection of drawing inks in glass bottles with corks.

Paintworks, 99-101 Kingsland Road, London E2 has the best paper supplies as well as lots of other art materials - I love to use their ready cut sheets of acid free cartridge and rag paper - all in handy packs and for a very reasonable price. I cannot believe I forgot to take a photograph of the shop!
