Chair Poetics

Ralph Ball and Maxine Naylor reconfigure ordinary, everyday chairs to ask questions about our relationship to utility, familiarity, obsolescence, sustainability and value. This exhibition is part of the London Design Festival and it is on at England & Co, 216 Westbourne Grove, London W11 until 30 September.

London Design Festival

The London Design Festival is on from the 13th-23rd September. There are lots of events to peruse over the coming weeks. This chair by Tom Price is from an exhibition organised by Arts Co, an arts consultancy which addresses environmental issues through art and design. From Now to Eternity - Plastic in Design is at the Biscuit Building, 10 Redchurch Street. London E2 from 19th September to 19th October.
