George Davey was sentenced to one month's hard labour in Wandsworth Prison in 1872 for stealing two rabbits. He was ten years old.

Geraldine Cox

I visited the Affordable Art Fair in Batterse Park on Friday which was buzzing with a huge variety of art and art-lovers and there seemed to be quite a lot of buying going on. I saw several pieces of work that I liked but this was the piece that I would have chosen to bring home with me. The Butterfly Collectors painted by Geraldine Cox as a study for a larger piece, I loved the subject matter, the colours and the brush marks - it is a small yet powerful painting. You can have a look at some more of her work on her website. The fair continues today.
